  Buttonwillow Track Day
I went to Buttonwillow Raceway for the first time yesterday, my second track day overall. It's a much faster track than Streets of Willow Springs and took a little getting used to, but once in the groove I really started to feel good out there. Except for the part where I went off a turn and into the mud (that's what happens when you don't concentrate out on the track). Otherwise I was hitting corners well and staying low.

One thing that always surprises me is when people show up on really fast bikes but ride so slowly. I was running circles around the many R1s in my group, which was the slowest of the three groups.  ¶ 4:35 PM 0 comments

  Site Progress The site is moving along and it should be ready for the 2/1/2006 launch date. There might be a few pages still needing work but I think the majority of it will be done. Didn't ride this weekend due to rain and football.  ¶ 5:21 PM 0 comments

  Getting Started Ugh; I'm still working on getting the content together. Admittedly this can be a very subjective topic and there will be many dissenting opinions, but the ultimate goal here is to keep new riders as safe as possible.
